The work of Juan Dominguez questions theatre as a medium. Working on the relationship between different codes, his works set out to blur the boundaries between fiction and reality.

In TLBETME, “he invites us to experience the before, during and after of his actual performance, all at the same time. Present is future, is past. Viewers are invited to spy on the intervals between the emergence of ideas for choreographies and the choreography of these ideas. […] The actions emphasise the relationships between writing and reading as the work itself. They throw spectators into a galaxy of hallucinations, the world of dreams, the space of the imagination. Or perhaps it is the space of thoughts, where we mingle in intimate contact with the choreographer? The device seems to dictate distance, but we end up feeling as if we are making love with the artist's thoughts, with ourselves, with both at once. Is it him? Is it you? Is it me?
