Mónica Muntaner

Barcelona, 1966.
Mònica Muntaner trained as a dancer in Barcelona before working as a dancer and performer with:  Senza Tempo, Sol Picó, La Vana Gloria, Maria Antònia Oliver, Comediants and La Fura dels Baus. She also created works for and performed with: Robadura Dansa and Las Malqueridas. Meanwhile, she also created several solos:  Caracol, Muy señor mio and Momunt.
In 2001, she started forming part of the collective Las Santas, a multidisciplinary arts group that has created and presented: Ejercicio nº3, Bizarre, Aparencias, Menta in iurmain with texts of Rafael Ponce, Tres encuentros and Space Invaders. In 2008 premiered the performance Duques de Bergara directed by Sergi Fäustino and participed as the lead actress in the short film Absent dirigido por Guillermo Asensio.
