Juan José de la Jara

He began his stage training in Santiago de Chile, then moved to Madrid and graduated in performance studies, with a major in physical theatre.  He studied contemporary dance with the choreographers Ana Buitrago, Olga Mesa, Mónica Valenciano and Elena Córdoba, and also studied anti-gym, Iyengar Yoga and Chi Kung. In 1996 he began his work as director and performer with the company Vakuum for the creation of the piece Guineos.
