Javier started his dance studies in different schools in Madrid, Andalusia and in the "Universidad Miguel Hernandez" in Alicante. In 2003 he moves to Rotterdam to take part of the "Bachelor of Dance programme, specialisation Dancer" at CODARTS. Since his graduation he has worked with different makers mostly in The Netherlands as Nicole Beutler, Conny Janssen Danst, Ann van der Broek, Marta Reig Torres, Dylan Newcomb, Arno Schuitemaker... and outside of The Netherlands, Hofesh Shechter and Aimar Pérez Galí.

Nowadays he is also developing his practice as a maker and teacher, directs the recently opened ESPACIO PRACTICO (Barcelona) together with Aimar Pérez Galí and he is also residence artist of La Poderosa (Barcelona).
