LISBOA– BARCELONA
Carte Blanch to RE.AL, one of the most influencing Portuguese dance structures.
We bring to Barcelona some of the activities this Lisbon based structure develops regularly. RE.AL is directed by the choreographer João Fiadeiro, accompanied by the associated artists Cláudia Dias and Gustavo Sumpta.
Besides reinforcing the exchange of contents between both territories, this cycle is a unique opportunity for Barcelona's audience and professionals to dive in the creative universe and methodology developed by this cluster of artists. A methodology of thought and practice that stands out within the contemporary European scene for its interest, rigour and engagement.
The contents proposed by RE.AL for their Carte Blanche are the premier of João Fiadeiro's new work, the presentation of Clàudia Dias latest piece, three works from the plastic artist and performer Gustavo Sumpta, an intensive workshop on CTR- Composición en Tiempo Real (the fist workshop on this methodology in our country), coaching sessions with local artists, and diverse meetings and conversations around their approach to creation. All of them will take place during ten intense days at La Caldera, Barcelona.
